Hello my thrifty friends!
I’ve been seeing a lot of blush color clothing emerging lately and I’ve wanted to update my closet with a few pieces to get ready for the upcoming spring season. I recently got this Maxi dress in the Forever 21 sale room, and let me tell you, they have such great deals in there. I’m not going to lie, it is a little a crazy in there as well, but for a seasoned thrifter…it’s not too bad. I think the that their sale room, in many ways, is a lot like any thrift store I’ve been in.
If you can believe it, this blush colored number was only $4! I felt like it was very light and airy, and gave off a easy spring transition. The boyfriend and I recently went on a little adventure around the city, to discover places we’d never been. WE stumbled upon this little gem, The Koehler Cultural Center, it felt like it fit the theme of my outfit perfectly. I think that this dress could easily be worn to a summer wedding or brunch with the girls with just a few accessory changes. The dress is very lightweight (and see through so be sure to wear a slip underneath) but it’s also very comfortable.
The purse was for real thrifted though, and it was only $1. Since I keep my accessories pretty minimal I wanted something that would complete this look and also add that extra touch. My watch was only $9 at Sam Moon, I like that they virtually have any accessory that you can think up, and for someone such as myself, who is obsessed with monochromatic color schemes…they have every color too.
